Pizza lunch will be provided at 11:30 a.m. Training begins at 11:45 a.m.
The Regional Office of Education, Truancy Department is set in place to assist schools with supporting the truancy laws while helping students and their families to make good attendance a priority. Behavior Interventionists will explain their process and procedures and happily answer any questions you may have regarding their services and responsibilities, along with how they can help you. Information will also be given to support the district schools and families that SROs may interact with frequently. Sign up to make connections with their staff and review ways you can collaborate to address the schools and families with chronic attendance issues.

*While we’d love to see you in-person, this training will also be offered for free via Zoom in efforts to reach more SROs. If this works best for your schedule, please indicate this option when you register and provide your email address to be sent the Zoom link.*
