The Illinois Juvenile Officers Association encourages and promotes the exchange of information that will bring about a better understanding of the problems of juveniles including:

• The advancement in Law Enforcement efforts relative to laws affecting juveniles.

• Involvement in programs aimed at the prevention and control of Juvenile Delinquency.

• Understanding amongst various youth serving agencies and organizations concerned with the problems of juveniles.

• Support for or opposition to legislation or programs in Illinois which might affect the welfare of the youth of this State.
